Fluorescent Dopaminergic Receptor D5 Internalization Assay Cell Line

Description Green Fluorescent D5 Dopamine Receptor Cell Line contains SH-SY5Y cells stably expressing DRD5 Receptor tagged with tGFP. These Cell lines proliferate in vitro maintaining fluorescent GPCR expression following the cell culture manual. The Green Fluorescent D5 Dopamine Receptor Cell Line allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate DRD5 Receptor activation and the following redistribution process inside the cells. When a ligand binds to the DRD5 Receptor, it activates a G protein, which internalizes in big and high intensity vesicles. This cell line has been validated measuring Fluorescent D5 Dopamine Receptor redistribution by increase of fluorescence surrounding the nuclei using image analysis algorithms. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring DRD5 Receptor redistribution process in High Throughput Screening.
